My love is like the ice skates

Watching your every move

Especially when your legs are weak

Elegant and beautiful

Charming and cool

But then there is the other side

Newly sharpened blades

Stroke me wrong

And you will bleed

Lose control

And you will fall

Purple bruises

Broken bones

Oh but I am only a shoe

Pressing against hard ice

with my professional blade

I can cut you for your mistake

I can cut you if you go a cm further

Because you are so unbalanced

You played the game wrong

Yeah to be going in circles is not fun

You were supposed to give me patience

Gratitude and passion

All the things that make us human

A real partner I consider worth it

But instead of giving me humble feelings

You gave neglect and tears

You gave me a thousand feelings

But none of them was genuine

You gave me hope for nothing

So when I am back on my ice rink

I get to feel like tearing my hair out

I don’t remember signing papers

Stating that I can be taken for granted

I don’t remember being born

To be only convenient for someone

Sometimes

When actually I played fair

But your pleasures meant more

More than love that was pure

Organic and raw

No plastic ingredients inside

Only fresh love to place on your hand

I was so alive when you were smiling

It’s as if you put a spell on me

I beg you to tell me the secret

How you can look into my eyes

And tell me to not leave you

But then your pride kicks in like the sharp ice skate

The one with hard leather

The one that already hurt me

Perhaps your just an obstacle

On the journey that I am taking

So for now

I will let the ice lead me

So I can feel every Melody in my playlist

While I am moving away gently

Singing a song through writing

Crying inside but here I am still smiling

Thank you for everything
